Putting Efforts On The Correct Path

Hardworking and putting efforts. 

I believe many in this world are hardworking enough to make a living. The question is whether you are hardworking and putting efforts at the correct path. Since you are going to be hardworking, why not putting efforts into the things you like to do? 

Your path of life should be linked to what something that you like. For example, if you like drawing, pursue a path of life in drawing. If you like drawing but you are working as an engineer, naturally, you will not find any interest in engineering. The day you went to engineering school was just to pleased your parents so that you have a degree in some field of studies to secure your employment in life. 

Do you understand what I am trying to say? 

A Land of Good Seeds

When the land is planted with flowers, weeds will not grow. When the heart is planted with kindness, evil will not grow. 

A person's heart is like a piece of land. If you do not plant good seeds on it, it will never give you harvest. 

A human being has kindness by nature. You just need to realized it and grow your kindness without limits.  

Master your Temper, Control your Anger

There is a saying goes like this. Being angry, is using other people's mistake to punish ourselves. 

How deep do you understand this saying? 

Being able to master one's temper, is a skill set that one must have, in his or her learning journey of becoming a better human being. 

You can be kind to everyone but once you lose your temper, all your deeds are burned, just like that. 

Be Generous

When a person is happy, it is not because he or she owns a lot of things. It is because he or she is less calculative. In other words, generosity, big heart, kind heart. 

When you possess something, it only gives you short term happiness. Materialistic will not last forever. One must always remember, whatever material you own in this life, will not follow you when you die. However, the only thing that follows you when you die, is your wisdom and deeds. 

Do Good & Return Good

When your hands are facing down, you are helping people. 

When your hands are facing up, you are begging people. 

You feel happy when you help people. 

You feel sad when you beg people. 

Do more good deeds, it makes you happy and gives you positive energy. 

Everything Begins with Yin & Yang

The Chinese believes every thing in this universe, started with Yin and Yang. To put it in layman terms, for example, men vs women, long vs short, big vs small, good vs bad, positive vs negative and so many many more, or we always say, "there is 2 sides to a coin". 

You see, there is always the opposite effect of a certain thing so that it creates a balance within it. When the balance is "not balanced" anymore, problem / conflict / issues arises. 

Find a balance in everything you do and you shall find harmony within yourself. 

Of course, if you know something that is negative, will you still want to do it? 

Our mind is programmed in such a way that the subconscious mind sets the pattern of how we live our life everyday and the conscious mind makes the justification of whether it is rightful or wrongful when doing certain things. So, while training both our conscious and subconscious mind, the important part is to constantly create awareness between both minds so that we do not program our minds into the wrong direction and therefore lead ourselves to the wrong path along our journey in life.
